Lent (2023) is an interactive prayer room inspired by the events that mark the somber season of Lent. A group of 4 artists and writers collaborated to create seven canvases, a sculpture, and a series of guided prompts to invoke private reflection and interactive response from the community visiting and affecting the room over the 40-day period of Lent. The canvases were also photographed and composited by Christen Smith to animate the progression of each artists' own meditations.
